Purchased this beautiful whirlpool bathtub 7 years ago. In less than 6 months, the pump malfunctioned (mfg defect) with a broken seal in its center, and emptied tons of water into our brand new addition, ruining the ceiling, walls, furniture, and wood floors in the first floor of our home, causing over $15,000 damage (tub is located in the second floor. Kohler claimed that it wasn't their fault, although the Kohler-certified technician that inspected it and replaced it said that the only way that seal could break (internal seal) was if it was a defective part. Less than 2 weeks after the motor was repaced (took almost 5 months to do so because Kohler didn't want to pay for it), the control board blew out. Again, the technician inspected it and said it occurred because there were a few wires that were never assembled properly at the factory, and it eventually shorted the entire unit out. After replacing both parts, a year later, the control board again shorted out, and blew out...


I believe, explains the few complaints on KOHLER K-1110-V-0 Purist Whirlpool, White not fitting or leaking.
